Police have arrested three people on suspicion of drug offences following a warrant at a house in Alfreton.

Operational Support Team officers carried out the warrant on Monday, April 7 on Milton Avenue, with support from the local Safer Neighbourhood policing team.

A quantity of suspected Cannabis and Heroin was seized during the raid, which was set up following reports of suspicious activity from the local community.

A 41-year-old woman and an 18-year-old woman from Alfreton were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs, and a 16-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of possession of Cannabis.

All three people have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
