Three arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after being stopped in Belper
Three men were arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply after they were stopped by officers in Belper.
A BMW car was stopped by police at Coppice car park, off the Market Place, at about 1pm on Tuesday, September 16.
One of the occupants of the vehicle fled but was detained after a short pursuit. Officers then found wraps of suspected class A drugs nearby.
One man aged 20 and two 23-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply. They have been bailed pending further inquiries.
