Supernatural start to Halloween at Gullivers

Bobby gets to grip with the Swizzels Trick Treat Trail before meeting the Gully Gang.

Guests at children’s theme park Gulliver’s got a supernatural surprise when TV star Bobby Lockwood popped in to kick off the half term week in spooky style.

Ahead of the series finale of his hit CBBC show Wolfblood, Bobby paid a visit to Gulliver’s to help launch the official Swizzels Trick & Treat Trail which is now open at all three Gulliver’s sites in Warrington, Matlock Bath and Milton Keynes.

BAFTA winner Bobby tried his hand at each of the Trick & Treat challenges to earn himself sweet treats supplied especially by Swizzels, including casting spells to turn magic potions into Rainbow Drops, before boarding the park’s rollercoaster and other rides.

Gatecrashing no fewer than FOUR Nerf Zone birthday parties, Bobby happily played the role of a zombie in Gulliver’s live gaming centre as children opened fire on him with their Nerf blasters. Entertainment staff at the theme park welcomed Bobby to the team as a special guest star, which saw him make a cameo appearance in the Haunted Forest Walk.

Later, Bobby used his supernatural skills from playing Wolfblood’s lead character Rhydian to summon up hundreds of visitors to attempt the longest ever wolf howl to make sure families got into the Halloween spirit.

A spokesperson for Gulliver’s said: "Bobby’s famous for playing a supernatural sort so we knew he’d be in demand for spooky selfies! In the last 12 months, he’s has been awarded a BAFTA and been crowned the winner of BBC show Tumble - but now he’s achieved the biggest accolade of all, a sweet victory on the official Swizzels Trick & Treat Trail, only at Gulliver’s!"

The season finale of Wolfblood airs this afternoon, Monday 27 October, on CBBC. Gulliver’s is open all week for Halloween fun.
