Witness appeal after collision in Ripley

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a collision between a van and a car in Ripley.

A flat bed vehicle was in collision with a blue Renault Clio, which had been parked outside an address in Peasehill Road, Ripley.

The van, which may have been carrying pallets, did not stop at the scene of the collision.

The driver of the Clio had been in the car at the time, along with a young child. Both were uninjured in the incident, but the driver was left shaken.

Police want to hear from witnesses or anyone with information on the incident, which happened at about 4 pm on Wednesday, October 22.

The van is likely to have damage to the front as the Clio was left with substantial damage.

Anyone who knows of a van which could have been involved should call police on 101, quoting collision reference 9967.
