Appeal for witnesses in Alfreton after man is assaulted
Police appeal for witnesses after a man is assaulted in Alfreton.
On Saturday, January 24 between midnight and 1 am a man was walking from high Street onto Rogers Lane when a verbal altercation took place with two men in a car.
The driver of the car got out and punched the man in the face; the passenger then got out and also punched the man.
The man suffered a fractured cheek bone, cuts and bruises and damaged teeth. The men were in a small dark coloured car.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Julie Pearson at Ripley police station using the 101 non-emergency number.
