Police are appealing for information after a man indecently exposed himself in South Normanton.

At around 5pm on Thursday, September 10, an 8-year-old girl was walking along Duke Street in South Normanton when she noticed a man in a van following her.

The man followed the girl as she walked further down the road, before getting out of the vehicle and exposing himself to her. He then got back into his van and drove off.

The man is described as tanned, around 5ft 8, of a slim build with dark, spiky hair. He wore overalls and boots.

Anyone with any information about the incident, or saw a man matching the description on Duke Street, should contact PC Louisa Briscoe on 101, quoting crime number 39731/15.
