Former Tibshelf teacher traced
Schoolteacher Robert Lee has been traced thanks to help from the public.
Detective Sergeant Gareth Fuller said: “The response to our appeal yesterday has been amazing and I’m very grateful. We had made extensive enquiries to trace Mr Lee and checked death records but there was no conclusive evidence to point us in the right direction.
“As a result of the Facebook and media appeals we had several calls and his family also contacted us. We hope to be able to talk to Mr Lee at some point in the future.”
Officers had been trying to find Mr Lee, who taught in the science department at Tibshelf Community School.
