Large haul of jewellery stolen from Ambergate home
Burglars stole a large amount of jewellery after breaking into a house in Ambergate.
The house, in Derby Road, was burgled between 8.15am and 12.45pm on Friday, October 30.
The offenders stole a large haul of jewellery including necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings and watches.
Among the necklaces stolen was a 9ct gold St Christopher on a gold chain, a 9ct gold men’s curb link chain, a 9ct gold cross on a thin gold chain, a small diamond pendant on a 9ct gold chain, and two small gold lockets, one in the shape of a heart and one an oval.
A 9ct gold wedding ring with diamonds was also taken, as were two rose gold wedding bands, a 9ct gold garnet ring and a white gold ring with a pink stone, among several others.
The offenders also took a silver and rose gold Michael Kors watch, a rose gold DKNY watch, a Victorian ornate silver ladies’ pocket watch, a laptop, cash, mobile phone and a digital camera.
Detectives investigating the offence are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
