Author events in Derbyshire libraries
Fans of crime fiction, romance, poetry or travel writing should enjoy the new series of talks in our libraries over the next few weeks.
Residents will have the chance to meet well-known authors, pick up ideas for new books to try or have a chat about books over a cup of tea.
Our Cabinet Member for Health and Communities Councillor Dave Allen said:
"Our libraries continue to attract high profile authors who are both entertaining and inspiring and this line up of events for the next few weeks should appeal to every taste. "It is another example of our library service offering so much more to local communities than just books."
