Witnesses needed after theft in Heanor
In Heanor on Wednesday 11th July, an elderly lady in a car park was approached by two female offenders apparently working as a team.
One first asked her directions to Coventry & pulled out a map, the other then approached & said that the victim was a long lost friend & kissed her on both cheeks.
The two offenders left & it wasn’t long before she discovered debit cards & a diary containing the PIN were taken from her handbag. Cash had been withdrawn from a cash machine before the cards were cancelled.
If you need any further security advice contact your local Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team on 101.
