Alfreton residents advised to be on guard
Residents are advised to be on guard following the theft of Derbyshire County Council work wear & an identification badge under the name of Richard West.
This happened in the Alfreton area, overnight between Wednesday 18th & Thursday 19th July. All council visits should be by appointment. If workmen attend without an appointment please confirm their identity with Derbyshire County Council on 08 456 058 058 before allowing anyone access. If you have any information regarding this incident contact the Volume Crime Team on 101 quoting crime number 31361/12. If a council worker visitor is persistent or becomes aggressive please call 999.
