Man assaulted in Ripley restaurant
Police appeal for information after a man was assaulted in an Indian Restaurant. A 38-year-old man was assaulted by four men in the Sylhet Spice Restaurant on Nottingham Road. This took place on Saturday, September 29 at 11.10pm. All of the men were described as in their mid to late 20’s and one of the men was 5ft 6ins tall and wore a pink shirt. There were two women with the men who were described as being in their 20’s with blonde hair. One of them was wearing a long black dress and a grey cardigan. Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Paul Bower at Ripley police station using the non-emergency number 101. To report crime anonymously call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
