Man assaulted outside a pub in Ripley
Police in Ripley are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted outside a pub in the town centre.
At around 10.45pm on Sunday, October 28 a 29-year-old man was punched outside the White Lion pub on the Market Place following an earlier argument.
The victim fell to the ground and suffered a broken cheekbone. A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault. He has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault.
