Biog for Graham Calladine

well i am not far of 50 , i started in music at 18 local DJ worked at rollerworld and clubs in notts , derby , and in sheffield, moved to kavos, (corfu ) after being offered a job in a club in 1984 moved at end of season to spain and spend 2 years around there and 1 year worldwide ie: mexico,south africa , . i returned to uk and entered in to a project with mike west from radio caroline and dave scott a canadian presenter along with martin pitt , and we started carousel radio in hounslow london as a cable radio network. In 3 years we had over 1 million listeners i did 6.30 am to 9.30 am it was a fantastic sound gave london something new .
we also had a team who used to run the roadshow at events around south london where i was lucky enough to be 1 of the presenters we used to get crowds of around 2,000+ just to listen to us and watch us have fun .
After selling carousel radio witch is now called sunrise and still going i came back to the midlands and started at stoneyford lodge where i stayed for 14 years until i called it a day.
Then i was talking to chris knight 1 day and he told me about ambersound after helping with a trial 1 month broadcast amber got the chance to a 5 year licence .
chris and eddy asked me if i would help with this and would i fund the station , i said yes and thats how i became involved with amber sound .
I also do a few bits with another station and last year did some work for a new T V station doing roadshows in preston , manchester sheffield and liverpool . I now do a 90s show on amber monday nights at 9 pm so why not tune in and give it a go its far better than watching TV so my dog says
