World War II – Home Front / 1940s Event

1st April 2018

You may need your tin hat and gas mask if you visit Crich Tramway Village during its World War II Home Front Event

The museum will be turning back to a period where Britain was at war. Historic wartime road and military vehicles will be on show and on the move, mingling with a range of vintage trams, which visitors will be able to ride on as often as they like.

Rita’s Tearoom will be serving wartime fayre and the Red Lion public house will be serving drinks while visitors can join in with traditional pub games.

Live singers will entertain with music from the era.

Plus, dress up in 1940s clothes and we offer a reduced admission charge. Please note that free return admission tickets are not valid for this event.

We are sorry, but there are no guided tours time-tabled for event days.
