Cash for Gold Cold Callers
It has been reported that people have been door knocking in Derbyshire, in particular the Cotmanhay, Ilkeston area offering ‘Cash for Gold’.
If you are interested in getting cash for your gold we would advise you to visit a local business premises which offers this service.
Please pass this information onto your neighbours, friends and family.
Trading Standards would like to remind people to never deal with anyone who cold calls by telephone or at the door and you should never provide personal information/bank details to cold callers. If you have received cold calls either by phone or at the door, felt pressurised into a visit from a business, are not sure who the business is, or are concerned in any way, you should report it to the citizens advice consumer service on 08454 04 05 06.
