Mill Hill School students achieve record A level results

Mill Hill School has achieved record-breaking results in this year’s A level and vocational A level examinations.

A total of 32% of grades at the school in Ripley were A* to A, an 8% increase from 24% last year, 21% in 2012 and 18% in 2011.

Fifty-three per cent of grades were A* to B, a 7% rise from last year and 71% of grades were A* to C – the same as last year.

The overall pass rate remained the same at 94%.

Helen Fozard, the school’s Head of Sixth Form, said they were thrilled with the latest set of record-breaking results.

She said: “We are extremely proud of these results which represent the culmination of all of our students’ hard work.

“They have achieved these fantastic grades with the support of our dedicated staff who work with parents to ensure that students are equipped with the skills they need to go on and be successful in their chosen field – be it the world of work or higher education.

“We are particularly proud of the number of A* to A grades, a figure which has increased every year for the past five years. A high number of students achieved the top grades this year and we are extremely pleased for them.

“These results represent the strong trend of year on year improvement at Mill Hill School, which we fully intend to continue.”
