Police urge businesses to be vigilant after man confuses cashier and makes off with extra change.
On Tuesday, October 7 at 1.30pm a man entered Somercotes Office Furniture on Nottingham Road, Somercotes and bought an item for £2.99.
He engaged in conversation with the cashier and confused her which resulted in him received more change than he was due.
The man was described as white, of medium build, in his 20s and had a moustache. He was wearing a red baseball cap, white sweater with thin blue horizontal stripes and navy blue trousers.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Andrew Cocking using the non-emergency number 101.
