Appeal for information on whereabouts of missing Ripley man

Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a man who went missing from his home in Ripley.

Paul Salt was last seen at his home in Briars Way late on Monday, March 23.

The 51-year-old is believed to have left home in a black Skoda Fabia car with an 05 registration plate.

Mr Salt is white, about 5ft 7ins, of medium build and with short brown hair. He is thought to have been wearing grey walking trainers with an orange stripe on the soles.

He requires daily medication but is not believed to have taken any with him.

Police want to hear from anyone who may have information on his whereabouts, or who may have seen a man matching his description driving the Skoda since he went missing.

As part of the investigation, divers from Nottinghamshire Police have started a search of the River Trent near Trent Lane, Nottingham.
