Kilburn woman jailed for supply and possession of drugs
A woman from Kilburn has been jailed for drugs offences after appearing in court.
Tammy Dickinson (28) was found guilty of supplying controlled drugs and possession of drugs with intent to supply both Class A and Class B substances.
The court appearance comes after officers executed a warrant at a property on Meadow Court in Kilburn last month, finding a quantity of suspected Class A and Class B drugs.
Drugs paraphernalia, mobile phones and cash were also seized during the search.
Dickinson, of Meadow Court, Kilburn, was sentenced to 30 months imprisonment at Nottingham Crown Court on Monday, April 20.
PC Neil Hopwell from the Kilburn Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “This result comes after partnership work between Kilburn, Belper and Ripley Safer Neighbourhood officers, alongside the Operational Support Team and Derwent Living Housing.
“It highlights that drugs activity will not be tolerated in our community and we will work hard to bring those responsible to justice.
“We’re encouraging local residents to report suspected drugs activity to us, as we do act on the intelligence that they provide to help crack down on this behaviour.”
If you have any information, call police on 101, 999 in an emergency, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
